sybinfo - The informal Sybase® Quick Reference and Knowledgebase

sybinfo is a reference work under development for Sybase® ASE®. The goal is to explain complex facts in simple and easily understandable terms and to point out important coherences. Due to its structure, sybinfo can be used as a "quick reference" manual.

How to use sybinfo

Headlines
Headlines start with a technical term and end, if needed, with an explanation or translation.

Alphabetical keyword register
The keyword register contains only headlines of articles or chapters. It is set up in alphabetical order. Special characters will always be found before the letter "A".

Footer
The footer of each page contains the link "home", which will lead back to this page. In addition, the line below contains links to pages to provide an overview of subjects dealt with in this reference work.

Command syntax convention
Expanded command descriptions, queries and command syntax can be distinguished from the rest of the text through the use of a different font and background colour. The exact description of the syntax can be found here .
